Marshal of the RAF Cyril Louis Norton Newall, 1st Baron Newall was born on 15 February 1886.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Potter Newall.2 He married, firstly, Mary Dulcie Weddell on 18 January 1922.1 He married, secondly, Olive Tennyson Foster, daughter of Horace Tennyson Foster, on 18 April 1925.1 He died on 30 November 1963 at age 77.1
