     Lady Margaret Stuart was born circa 1495 at Darnley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of Matthew Stuart, 2nd Earl of Lennox and Hon. Elizabeth Hamilton. She married, firstly, John Fleming, 2nd Lord Fleming before 13 February 1509.2 She married, secondly, Alexander Douglas, 6th of Mains, son of John Douglas, 5th of Mains and Margaret Kincaid, in 1518 at Renfrewshire, Scotland.2,1
     Her married name became Fleming. From 1518, her married name became Douglas.2

     John Fleming, 2nd Lord Fleming was born in 1465.1 He married, thirdly, Agnes Somerville, daughter of Sir John Somerville, 1st of Cambusnethan and Elizabeth Carmichael.2 He married, firstly, Euphemia Drummond, daughter of John Drummond, 1st Lord Drummond and Lady Elizabeth Lindsay.3 He married, secondly, Lady Margaret Stuart, daughter of Matthew Stuart, 2nd Earl of Lennox and Hon. Elizabeth Hamilton, before 13 February 1509.4 He died on 1 November 1524.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Lord Fleming.

     Janet Stewart was the daughter of Matthew Stuart, 2nd Earl of Lennox and Margaret Lyle.1 She married Ninian Ross, 3rd Lord Ross of Halkhead, son of John Ross, 2nd Lord Ross of Halkhead, before 15 November 1515.1 She died before 12 December 1523.
     Her married name became Ross.
     She is more usually described as a daughter of John, 1st Earl of Lennox, but Cockayne concludes she is more likely a daughter of Matthew "for chronological reasons."1

     Ninian Ross, 3rd Lord Ross of Halkhead was the son of John Ross, 2nd Lord Ross of Halkhead.1 He married Janet Stewart, daughter of Matthew Stuart, 2nd Earl of Lennox and Margaret Lyle, before 15 November 1515.1 He married by contract, secondly, Elizabeth Ruthven, daughter of William Ruthven, 1st Lord Ruthven and Isabel Livingstone, on 12 December 1540.1 He died circa February 1555/56.
     He gained the title of 3rd Lord Ross of Halkhead.

     Emma Diana Beaumont was the daughter of Thomas Wentworth Beaumont and Henrietta Jane Emma Hawks Atkinson.1 She married Reverend Stopford Augustus Brooke, son of Reverend Richard Sinclair Brooke and Anna Stopford, on 23 March 1858.1 She died on 20 June 1874.1
     From 23 March 1858, her married name became Brooke.1
