     He lived at Wootton Court, Kent, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

Alexander Penrose Murray1

     Alexander Penrose Murray was born on 13 July 1863.1 He was the son of George Joseph Murray and Augusta Anne Deane.2 He married, firstly, Nina Solovtsoff, daughter of Colonel Alexander Solovtsoff, in 1891.1 He married, secondly, Ethel Chorley Hill, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Arthur Hill, in 1895.1 He died on 18 March 1926 at age 62.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He was Consul-General to Haiti.1 He was Consul to St. Pierre between 1911 and 1926.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in 1915 in the Pioneer Depot.1

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Battle of Jutland on 27 May 1916.1
