Sir Adrian Spear Mott, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 October 1889.1 He was the son of Sir Basil Mott, 1st Bt. and Florence Harmar Parker.2 He married Mary Katherine Stanton, daughter of Reverend Alfred Herbert Stanton and Edith Eleanor Cripps, on 23 July 1914.1 He died on 23 May 1964 at age 74.1
He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1912 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1915 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was a publisher.1 He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1930 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mott, of Ditchling, co. Mark Dobell Mott was born on 15 July 1892.1 He was the son of Sir Basil Mott, 1st Bt. and Florence Harmar Parker.2 He married, firstly, Mary Coryndon Greathead, daughter of James Henry Greathead, on 4 April 1916.1 He and Mary Coryndon Greathead were divorced in 1936.1 He married, secondly, Martha Lewis Willis, daughter of Arthur Willis, on 21 March 1936.1 He died in 1975.1
