Sir John Morris, 1st Bt. was born on 15 July 1745.2 He was the son of Robert Morris and Margaret Jenkins.2 He married Henrietta Musgrave, daughter of Sir Philip Musgrave, 6th Bt. and Jane Turton, on 26 May 1774.2 He died on 25 June 1819 at age 73.2
