Dorothy Dufton was born circa 1895.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Felix Dufton.2 She married Charles McMoran Wilson, 1st Baron Moran, son of John Forsythe Wilson and Mary Jane Hanna, on 15 July 1919.1 She died on 12 July 1983.1
She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.1 From 15 July 1919, her married name became Wilson. After her marriage, Dorothy Dufton was styled as Baroness Moran on 8 March 1943.

Richard John McMoran Wilson, 2nd Baron Moran was born on 22 September 1924.2 He was the son of Charles McMoran Wilson, 1st Baron Moran and Dorothy Dufton.2 He married Shirley Rowntree Harris, daughter of George James Harris and Friede Rowntree, on 29 December 1948.2 He died on 14 February 2014 at age 89.3
