Eleanor Brocklebank was the daughter of John Brocklebank.2 She married Sir Richard Moon, 1st Bt., son of Richard Moon and Elizabeth Frodsham, on 27 August 1840.1 She died on 31 January 1891.1

Edward Moon was born on 4 June 1841.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Moon, 1st Bt. and Eleanor Brocklebank.2 He married Jessie Darbyshire, daughter of Benjamin Darbyshire, on 25 September 1866.1 He died on 12 April 1893 at age 51.1

Sir Cecil Ernest Moon, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 September 1867.1 He was the son of Edward Moon and Jessie Darbyshire.2 He married, firstly, Kate Lawder, daughter of P. Grattan Lawder, in 1888.1 He and Kate Lawder were divorced in 1910 at U.S.A.1 He married, secondly, Lilian Mary Darbyshire, daughter of Reverend B. S. Kekewich, on 8 June 1912.1 He died on 22 February 1951 at age 83, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Moon, of Copsewood Stoke, co. Warwick [U.K., 1887] on 17 November 1899.1
