Venerable Charles Wellington Furse1

     Venerable Charles Wellington Furse was born on 16 April 1821 at Great Torrington, Devon, England.2 He married, firstly, Jane Diana Monsell, daughter of John Samuel Bewlay Monsell and Anne Waller, on 24 February 1859 at Isle of Wight, England.3 He married Gertrude Louisa Barnett, daughter of Henry Barnett and Emily Ann Stratton, on 7 January 1880 at Parish Church, Glympton, Oxfordshire, England.2 He died on 2 August 1900 at age 79 at 1 Abbey Gardens, Westminster, London, England.2
     He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1847.2 He was the Vicar at Staines, London, England.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.3 He held the office of Archdeacon of Westminster.1
