     Colonel Sir William George Morris was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1962.1

     Henry Frederick Beaumont was born on 10 March 1837.2 He was the son of Henry Ralph Beaumont and Katherine Cayley.1 He married Maria Johanna Garthorpe, daughter of William Garthorpe, on 1 September 1857.1 He died on 6 October 1913 at age 76.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Yorkshire.1 He lived at Whitley Beaumont, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

     Margaret Stewart was the daughter of Henry Stewart, 2nd Lord Methven and Jean Ruthven.1 She married Andrew Stewart, Master of Ochiltree, son of Andrew Stewart, 2nd Lord Stewart of Ochiltree and Agnes Cuninghame, before 9 March 1566/67.2 She died on 1 January 1627.2

Andrew Stewart, 3rd Lord Stewart of Ochiltree1

     Andrew Stewart, 3rd Lord Stewart of Ochiltree was born circa 1560.1 He was the son of Andrew Stewart, Master of Ochiltree and Margaret Stewart.2 He married Margaret Kennedy, daughter of Sir John Kennedy of Blairquhan, circa 8 August 1587.1 He died in January 1628/29.1
     He gained the rank of General of Artillery.1 He held the office of General of Edinburgh Castle.1 He held the office of First Gentleman of the Bedchamber to King James VI and I.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Stewart of Ochiltree [S., 1543] on 21 March 1601/2.1 In 1611 he settled in Ulster, where he was granted 3,000 acres in County Tyrone, as one of the ‘undertakers', and was later granted other large tracts of land in Northern Ireland.1 In 1615 he sold the territorial Barony of Ochiltree and resigned his peerage to his cousin to raise cash.1 He was created 1st Baron Castle Stuart, of co. Tyrone [Ireland] on 7 November 1619.1

     Maria Johanna Garthorpe was born circa 1835.1 She was the daughter of William Garthorpe.1 She married Henry Frederick Beaumont, son of Henry Ralph Beaumont and Katherine Cayley, on 1 September 1857.1 She died on 10 July 1925.1
     From 1 September 1857, her married name became Beaumont.1

     Margery Stewart was the daughter of Sir John Stewart of Ralston.1 She married, firstly, Sir Alexander Lindsay before 19 October 1378.1 She married, secondly, Sir Henry Douglas of Lochleven, son of Sir John Douglas and Agnes (?), before 19 May 1384.1,2 She died in 1438.3
     She was also known as Marjory Stewart.3 Her married name became Lindsay. From before 19 May 1384, her married name became Douglas.3
