     Reverend Alexander Copland married Violet Wilhemina Somerville McAlester, daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Somerville McAlester of Loup and Kennox and Williamina Pollock Morris, in 1903.1
     He was Rector at Forfar, Angus, Scotland.1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1

     Charles McAlester Copland was born in 1910.1 He is the son of Reverend Alexander Copland and Violet Wilhemina Somerville McAlester.2
     He was Provost between 1959 and 1979 at Oban Cathedral, Oban, Argyllshire, Scotland.1 He held the office of Dean of Argyll and the Isles between 1977 and 1979.1

     Captain Robert William Hepburn was born on 28 January 1782 at Parish of St. Dorothy, Jamaica.1 He was the son of William Hepburn and Mary Ann Roy.1 He married Jacobina Hosie, daughter of John Hosie and Elizabeth McHardie, on 19 May 1805 at South Leith, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He died on 7 February 1866 at age 84 at Hepburn Point, Great Oyster Bay, Tasmania, AustraliaG.1 He was buried at Gala Kirk, Cranbrook, Tasmania, AustraliaG.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy, of the Regent, a revenue cutter.1 He emigrated to Tasmania, AustraliaG, arriving on 1827.1

     Sir Robert McAlpine, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 October 1868.1 He was the son of Sir Robert McAlpine, 1st Bt. and Agnes Hepburn.2 He married Lillias Cooper Bishop, daughter of Thomas George Bishop, in 1896.1 He died on 16 November 1934 at age 66.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet McAlpine, of Knott Park, Surrey [U.K., 1918] on 3 November 1934.1
