     Eleanor Williamson Salter is the daughter of James Salter.2 She married Geoffrey Ernald Maitland, son of Lt.-Col. Reginald Charles Frederick Maitland and Marjorie Agnes Jane Lane, on 3 May 1971.1 She and Geoffrey Ernald Maitland were divorced in 1980.1
     From 3 May 1971, her married name became Maitland.

     Muriel Penelope Maitland was born on 10 March 1885.1 She was the daughter of Major Reginald Paynter Maitland and Ann Eliza Oldfield.2 She married Colonel Edward Forbes Cooke-Hurle, son of Joseph Cooke-Hurle, on 30 April 1913.1 She died on 23 January 1961 at age 75.1
     From 30 April 1913, her married name became Cooke-Hurle.

     Colonel Edward Forbes Cooke-Hurle was the son of Joseph Cooke-Hurle.2 He married Muriel Penelope Maitland, daughter of Major Reginald Paynter Maitland and Ann Eliza Oldfield, on 30 April 1913.1 He died on 21 December 1923, following a hunting accident.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Somersetshire Light Infantry.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
