     Thomas Watt Thoms was born in 1833.1 He was the son of Patrick Hunter Thoms, 1st of Aberlemno and Grace Watt.2 He married Rachel Jameson Duncan, daughter of James Duncan, on 22 April 1869.1 He died on 13 June 1897.1
     He lived at Craikfolds, Angus, Scotland.1 He lived at Fort House, Dundee, Angus, Scotland.1

     Rachel Jameson Duncan was the daughter of James Duncan.2 She married Thomas Watt Thoms, son of Patrick Hunter Thoms, 1st of Aberlemno and Grace Watt, on 22 April 1869.1 She died on 31 January 1905.1
     From 22 April 1869, her married name became Thoms.

     Alfred Patrick Macthomas Thoms of Aberlemno was born on 6 July 1871.2 He was the son of Thomas Watt Thoms and Rachel Jameson Duncan.2 He married Evelyn Charteris Black, daughter of James Buyers Black, on 6 October 1908.2 He died on 17 May 1958 at age 86.2
     He was educated at Blair Lodge.2 He graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)2 He was educated at Geneva, Switzerland.2 He held the position of 17th Chief, de jure Chief of the Clan MacThomas from.2 He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.)2
