Catherine Cameron Macpherson was born on 9 November 1798.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Duncan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 13th Chief and Catherine Cameron.3 She married William Bruce-Gardyne, 6th of Middleton, son of James Bruce and Ann Gardyne.2 She died on 9 October 1871 at age 72.2 She was also reported to have died in 1844.1

Duncan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 15th Chief was born on 9 October 1833.1 He was the son of Colonel Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 14th Chief and Sarah Justina Davidson.2 He married Emily Ellen Harris, daughter of General Phillip Harris, on 19 December 1867.1 He died on 3 October 1886 at age 52, without issue.1
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the The Black Watch.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He fought in the Battle of Tel-El-Kebir in 1882, where he commanded the Black Watch.1

Ewen Henry Davidson Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 16th Chief was born on 21 January 1836.1 He was the son of Colonel Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 14th Chief and Sarah Justina Davidson.2 He married Mary Stacey, daughter of Reverend John Thomas Cyril Stacey and Amelia Blanche Tyler, on 10 June 1897.1 He died on 18 August 1900 at age 64, without issue.1

George Gordon Macpherson was born on 4 April 1842.1 He was the son of Colonel Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 14th Chief and Sarah Justina Davidson.2 He married, firstly, Bertha Maria Marsh, daughter of Matthew Henry Marsh and Elizabeth Mary Merewether, on 23 February 1869.1 He married, secondly, Barbara Kerr on 1 May 1889.1 He died on 30 January 1891 at age 48.1
