Edith Anne Marsh was the daughter of Matthew Henry Marsh and Elizabeth Mary Merewether. She married Lt.-Col. George Best, 5th Baron Wynford, son of Hon. Reverend Samuel Best and Emma Duke, on 7 September 1870.1 She died on 31 May 1924.1
Her married name became Best. After her marriage, Edith Anne Marsh was styled as Baroness Wynford on 28 October 1903.
