Francis David Macnabb was born on 27 January 1927.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Alexander MacNabb of that Ilk, 21st Chief and Ursula Barnett.2 He married Sonia Jane Welton, daughter of Arthur Walter Welton, on 29 December 1949.1 He died on 18 April 1972 at age 45 at Addis Ababa, EthiopiaG, and was killed in an air crash.1
