John MacLeod, 11th of Raasay was born in 1714.1 He was the son of Malcolm MacLeod, 10th of Raasay and Mary Mackenzie.2 He married Jane Macqueen, daughter of Angus Macqueen of Totaroam in Trotternish.1 He died in 1786.1
In 1773 he entertained Dr Johnson during his tour with Boswell to the Western Isles.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 16 July 1779.1 He also had nine other daughters.1

Dr. Murdoch MacLeod is the son of Malcolm MacLeod, 10th of Raasay and Mary Mackenzie.2 He married Anne Macdonald, daughter of Alexander 'Mor' Macdonald, 1st of Boisdale and Mary Macdonald.2
He lived at Eyre, Isle of Skye, Scotland.2 In 1745 he joined in the Uprising.1 He had three sons (all died without issue) and two daughters.1
