     Margaret Macleod is the daughter of Torquil 'Conanach' MacLeod.1 She married, firstly, Sir Roderick Mackenzie of Castle Leod, son of Sir Colin Mackenzie, 11th of Kintail and Barbara Grant, circa 6 May 1605.2 She married, secondly, Thomas Fraser, 2nd of Strichen, son of Thomas Fraser of Knockie, and 1st of Strichen and Isobel Forbes, circa 17 February 1629.2
     From circa 6 May 1605, her married name became Mackenzie.2 From 17 February 1629, her married name became Fraser.2

     unknown daughter MacRory is the daughter of Allan MacRory of Gairloch.1 She married John MacLeod, son of Malcolm 'Garbh' MacLeod, 1st of Raasay.1
     Her married name became MacLeod.1

     Sir Roderick Mackenzie of Castle Leod was born in 1579.2 He was the son of Sir Colin Mackenzie, 11th of Kintail and Barbara Grant.3,2 He married Margaret Macleod, daughter of Torquil 'Conanach' MacLeod, circa 6 May 1605.2 He died in September 1626.1
     He lived at Tarbat, ScotlandG.2 He lived at Coigach, ScotlandG.4 He lived at Castle Leod, Strathpeffer, Ross-shire, ScotlandG.2 He was appointed Knight before 1619 for pacifying the Highlands.2

     Sir Colin Mackenzie, 11th of Kintail was born in 1556 at Kintail, Scotland.2 He was the son of Kenneth 'na cuire' Mackenzie, 10th of Kintail and Lady Elizabeth Stewart.3,4 He married Barbara Grant, daughter of John Grant, 4th of Freuchie and Lady Margaret Stewart, on 18 April 1572.4,2 He died on 19 June 1594.5
     Sir Colin Mackenzie, 11th of Kintail also went by the nick-name of Colin 'Cam' (or in English, One Eyed.)4

     Ian 'Mor' Macleod, 16th of MacLeod was the son of Sir Roderick Macleod, 15th of MacLeod and Isabella Macdonald.2 He married Sybella Mackenzie, daughter of Kenneth Mackenzie, 1st Lord Mackenzie of Kintail and Jean Anne Ross.2 He died in September 1649.2
     He was educated at Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.2 He held the position of 16th Chief of the Clan Macleod from.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1635 and 1641.2

     Sir Donald Macdonald, 11th of Sleat, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Donald Macdonald, 10th of Sleat, 3rd Bt. and Lady Mary Douglas.1 He married Mary Macdonald, daughter of John Macdonald, 2nd of Castleton and Anne MacLean.1 He died in 1718.1
     Sir Donald Macdonald, 11th of Sleat, 4th Bt. also went by the nick-name of 'Sir Donald of the Wars'.2 He gained the rank of Battle of Killiecrankie in 1689 in the where he lead his father's clan.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Macdonald, of Sleat, in the Isle of Skye, co. Inverness [N.S., 1625] on 5 February 1695.1 In 1715 he was involved in the Uprising. Although he is said to have been attainted, no forfeiture of his title appears to have followed.1 He lived at Duntulm, Isle of Skye, ScotlandG.1
