     Lachlan Maclean, 2nd of Brolas was born in 1650.1 He was the son of Donald Maclean, 1st of Brolas and Florence Maclean.2 He married Isabelle Maclean, daughter of Hector Maclean of Torloisk.1 He died in 1687.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Argyllshire in 1685/86.1

     Sir Allan Maclean of Brolas, 6th Bt. was born after 1711 at Brolas, Isle of Mull, Scotland.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Donald Maclean, 3rd of Brolas and Isabella Maclean.3 He married Una Maclean, daughter of Hector Maclean, 12th of Coll and Janet Mary Campbell.1 He died on 10 December 1783 at Inchkenneth, Isle of Mull, Scotland, without male issue.1,2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Dutch service.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 119th Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Maclean, of Morven, co. Argyll [N.S., 1631] in February 1751.1 He fought in the American War of Independence.1

     From 21 August 2014, her married name became Pigot.1
