William Gourlay, 18th of Kincraig1

     William Gourlay, 18th of Kincraig was the son of John Gourlay and Elizabeth Plenderleath.2 He married, firstly, Catherine van Cortlandt, daughter of Colonel Philip van Cortlandt, in 1787.1 He married, secondly, Mary Macintosh, daughter of James Macintosh, in 1822.1 He died in November 1827.1
     He was a Physician at Madeira, Portugal.1

     James Bean-Gourlay married Catherine Gourlay, 21st of Gourlay, daughter of William Gourlay, 18th of Kincraig and Catherine van Cortlandt.1
     He lived at Madeira, Portugal.1 He was given the name of James Bean at birth.1

     Catherine van Cortlandt is the daughter of Colonel Philip van Cortlandt.2 She married William Gourlay, 18th of Kincraig, son of John Gourlay and Elizabeth Plenderleath, in 1787.1
     From 1787, her married name became Gourlay.

Catherine Gourlay, 21st of Gourlay1

     Catherine Gourlay, 21st of Gourlay was the daughter of William Gourlay, 18th of Kincraig and Catherine van Cortlandt.2 She married, firstly, Captain Roddam Douglas.1 She married, secondly, James Bean-Gourlay.1 She died in December 1864, without issue.1
     Her married name became Douglas.1

     Jean Plenderleath Gourlay was the daughter of William Gourlay, 18th of Kincraig and Catherine van Cortlandt.2 She married Brig.-Gen. John Austin in 1809.1 She died in 1823.1

     Brig.-Gen. John Austin married Jean Plenderleath Gourlay, daughter of William Gourlay, 18th of Kincraig and Catherine van Cortlandt, in 1809.1 He died in 1860.1
     He held the office of Governor of Algarve.1 KCTS.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the British Army.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Portuguese Army.1

Reverend William Edmund Crauford Austin-Gourlay, 22nd of Kincraig1

     Reverend William Edmund Crauford Austin-Gourlay, 22nd of Kincraig was born on 13 May 1821.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. John Austin and Jean Plenderleath Gourlay.2 He married Emily Blair, daughter of Captain Frederick Blair, on 24 June 1863.1 He died on 10 February 1897 at age 75, without issue.1
     He was given the name of William Edmund Crauford Austin at birth.1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a Fellow at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was Rector at Stanton St. John, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was a Fellow at Stoke Abbott, Dorset, England.1
