Ernest William Denison, 6th Baron Londesborough was born on 9 August 1876.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Hon. Albert Denison Somerville Denison and Louisa Crichlow Fabris.2 He married Sybil May Anley, daughter of Captain Henry Thomas Anley and Rachel Eliza Russell, on 1 June 1905.1 He died on 31 December 1963 at age 87, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Order of St. Stanislas of Russia 2nd Class with swords.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Londesborough, in the East Riding, co. York [U.K., 1850] on 17 April 1937.2 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.1
