     Daniel Riddiford was born circa 1814.² He was the son of Daniel Riddiford and Harriett Strother Balmforth.² He was baptised on 22 April 1817 at Drypool, Yorkshire, England.² He married Harriot Stone, daughter of Richard Buckley Stone and Elizabeth Margaret Filder, on 18 January 1839 at Holy Trinity, Brompton, London, England.² He died on 20 March 1875 at Woburn, Lower Hutt, New Zealand.²
     He and Harriot Stone emigrated to Wellington, New Zealand, arriving on 1840 on board the Adelaide.²

     Thomasine Riddiford was born on 13 November 1846 at Lower Hutt, New Zealand.² She was the daughter of Daniel Riddiford and Harriot Stone.^3,2 She married Captain James Dudley Ryder Hewitt, son of Rev. Hon. John Pratt Hewitt and Elizabeth Gervais, on 6 September 1873 at St. James, Lower Hutt, New Zealand.^1,2 She died on 18 June 1942 at age 95.^1,2
     From 6 September 1873, her married name became Hewitt.

     John Edward Hewitt was born on 29 June 1874.¹ He was the son of Captain James Dudley Ryder Hewitt and Thomasine Riddiford.² He married Ellen Edith Hitchings, daughter of V. T. Hitchings, on 30 January 1901.¹ He died on 21 June 1949 at age 74.¹

     V. T. Hitchings lived at Woodstock, Levin, New Zealand.¹

     Ellen Edith Hitchings was the daughter of V. T. Hitchings.² She married John Edward Hewitt, son of Captain James Dudley Ryder Hewitt and Thomasine Riddiford, on 30 January 1901.¹ She died on 28 January 1958.¹
     From 30 January 1901, her married name became Hewitt.

     William Robert Riddiford Hewitt was born on 17 July 1903.¹ He was the son of John Edward Hewitt and Ellen Edith Hitchings.² He married Nancy Charlotte Ellen Mair, daughter of Sydney Arthur Robert Mair, on 8 April 1930.¹ He died in 1976.¹

     Sydney Arthur Robert Mair lived at New Zealand.¹

     Nancy Charlotte Ellen Mair was the daughter of Sydney Arthur Robert Mair.² She married William Robert Riddiford Hewitt, son of John Edward Hewitt and Ellen Edith Hitchings, on 8 April 1930.¹ She died in 1988.¹
     From 8 April 1930, her married name became Hewitt.

     Ian Robert Hewitt was born on 28 July 1931.¹ He was the son of William Robert Riddiford Hewitt and Nancy Charlotte Ellen Mair.² He married Jean Hamilton Johnson, daughter of Henry Nicholas Johnson, in 1955.¹ He died in 1992.¹

     Henry Nicholas Johnson graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹
