     Emily Sarah Sellwood was the daughter of Henry Sellwood. She married Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson of Aldworth, son of Reverend George Clayton Tennyson and Elizabeth ffytche, on 13 June 1850.¹ She died on 10 August 1896.¹
     Her married name became Tennyson. After her marriage, Emily Sarah Sellwood was styled as Baroness Tennyson of Aldworth on 24 January 1884.
