     Maximilian Frank Simon was born on 30 January 1848 at Lee, Kent, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Maximilian Simon and Eleanor Serena Englehurst.2 He married Cornelia Georgina Johnston in August 1872 at Spanish Town, JamaicaG.2 He died on 17 June 1902 at age 54 at Marylebone, London, EnglandG.2 He was buried at Radipole, Weymouth, Dorset, EnglandG.2
     He was educated at St. Thomas Hospital Medical School, London, EnglandG.2 He was with the Colonial Medical Service in 1873 at Kingston, JamaicaG.2 He was Principal Medical Officer, Straits Settlements in 1890.1 He graduated from St. Andrew's University, St. Andrews, Fife, ScotlandG, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1,2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1901.1

     Colonel Maximilian St. Leger Simon was born in 1876 at Malucca, IndonesiaG.2 He was the son of Maximilian Frank Simon and Cornelia Georgina Johnston.3,2 He married Mabel Louise Lees, daughter of Thomas Orde Hastings Lees and Grace Bateman, on 6 July 1902.1 He died on 5 January 1951.
     He was educated at Blundell's School, Tiverton, Devon, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1
