George Alexander Waldemar Lawrence was born on 22 September 1910.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Waldemar Lawrence, 4th Bt. and Anne Elizabeth Le Poer Wynne.2 He married Olga Schilovsky, daughter of Peter Schilovsky, on 10 June 1949.1 He died on 29 October 1999 at age 89.1
