Sir Reginald Lawrence William Williams, 7th Bt.1

     Sir Reginald Lawrence William Williams, 7th Bt. was born on 3 May 1900.2 He is the son of Colonel Lawrence Williams and Catherine Elizabeth Anne Phibbs.2 He married Elinor Meriol Enriqueta Trevor, daughter of Frederic Pelham Trevor, on 15 August 1936.2 He died on 30 January 1971 at age 70.2
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.2 He was a mining engineer.2 He gained the rank of officer in the West African Engineers, Royal West African Field Force.2 He was awarded the Efficiency Decoration (E.D.)2 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.2 He was Commandant of the Army Leave Station, Nigeria between 1946 and 1948 with the rank of Major.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Williams, of Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire [G.B., 1798] on 9 December 1961.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire in 1968.2

Sir John Emilius Laurie of Maxwelton, 6th Bt. and Evelyn Clare Gardner Richardson-Gardner, on 14 September 1968.2
     From 14 September 1968, her married name became Laurie. She lived in 2003 at The Old Rectory, Little Tey, Essex, England.2
