Myrtle Baron was the daughter of Sir Louis Bernard Baron, 1st Bt.2 She married Lt.-Col. Samuel Brian Digby Hood, son of Alexander Frank Hood and Gladys Ursula Youell, on 8 April 1937.1 She died in 1982.1

Alexander Robert Hood was born on 9 February 1945.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Samuel Brian Digby Hood and Myrtle Baron.2 He married Ann Marie O'Donovan, daughter of John O'Donovan, in February 1967.1 He died in June 2017 at age 72.3
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.1 He lived in 2003 at Greys Green Farm, Rotherfield Greys, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1
