Susannah Linzee, Baroness Hood of Catherington1

     Susannah Linzee, Baroness Hood of Catherington was born on 19 June 1726 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Edward Linzee and Anne Newnham.1,2 She married Admiral Samuel Hood, 1st Viscount Hood of Whitley, son of Reverend Samuel Hood and Mary Hoskins, on 25 August 1749.1 She died on 25 May 1806 at age 79 at Greenwich, Kent, England.1,2
     From 25 August 1749, her married name became Hood. She was created 1st Baroness Hood of Catherington, co. Southampton [Great Britain] on 27 March 1795, with special remainder to heirs male of her body.1

     Gordon Charles Douglas Hannay was born on 5 August 1930.1 He was the son of William Andrew Hannay and Vera Lee.1 He married Catherine Angela Cynthia French, daughter of Clarence French, on 28 June 1956.1 He died on 31 January 1994 at age 63.1
