Roger de Quency, 2nd Earl of Winchester was the son of Saher de Quency, 1st Earl of Winchester and Margaret de Beaumont.2,3 He married Alianore de Ferrers, daughter of William de Ferrers, 5th Earl of Derby and Sibyl Marshal.4 He married Maud de Bohun, daughter of Humphrey de Bohun, 2nd Earl of Hereford and Maud d'Eu.5 He married, firstly, Helen de Galloway, daughter of Alan de Galloway, Lord of Galloway and unknown daughter de Lacy, before 1234.6 He died on 25 April 1264.
He was also known as Roger de Quincy.7 He gained the title of 2nd Earl of Winchester.
