John Isham1

     John Isham was the son of Sir Euseby Isham and Anne Borlase.2 He married Anne Fitzwilliam, daughter of Sir William Fitzwilliam, in June 1604.1 He married Elizabeth Dunch, daughter of Edmund Dunch, on 23 November 1605.1 He died on 11 December 1626.1
     He lived Pytchley and Braunton.1

     John Isham was born circa August 1525.1 He was the son of Euseby Isham and Anne Pulton.3 He married Elizabeth Barker, daughter of Nicholas Barker, on 6 October 1552.1 He died before 15 May 1596.1
     He was a merchant adventurer at London, England.1 In 1559/60 they bought from Sir William Cecil the Manor and advowson of Lamport, with John later inheriting Robert's share.1 He was He built Lamport Hall.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1581.1 He lived at Lamport Hall, Lamport, Northamptonshire, England.1

     Circa 1567 he became blind.1 He lived at Lamport Hall, Lamport, Northamptonshire, England.1

Sir John Isham, 1st Bt.1

     Sir John Isham, 1st Bt. was born on 27 July 1582.1 He was the son of Thomas Isham and Elizabeth Nicholson.2 He married Judith Lewin, daughter of Dr. William Lewin, on 19 October 1607.1 He died on 8 July 1651 at age 68.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1608.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1611.1 He was created 1st Baronet Isham, of Lamport, co. Northampton [England] on 30 May 1627.1
