Major George Herbert Peake was born on 4 September 1859.1 He was the son of Henry Peake and Eliza Kirk.2 He married Evelyn Mary Dundas, daughter of Hon. John Charles Dundas and Hon. Alice Louisa Wood, on 26 June 1895.1 He died on 11 October 1950 at age 91.1
He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1887 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding of Yorkshire in 1896.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire in 1903.1 He held the office of Mayor of East Retford between 1903 and 1905.1 He gained the rank of Major between 1906 and 1916 in the Sherwood Rangers.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nottinghamshire in 1931.1 He lived at Snilesworth, Northallerton, Yorkshire, England.1 He lived at Bawtry Hall, Yorkshire, England.1 He lived at Sutton Hall, Thirsk, Yorkshire, England.1

Sir Harald Peake was born on 28 October 1899.1 He was the son of Major George Herbert Peake and Evelyn Mary Dundas.2 He married, firstly, Therese de Baillet-Latour, daughter of Count Henri de Baillet-Latour and Elizabeth Alexandrina Gräfin von Clary und Aldringen, on 31 October 1933.1 He and Therese de Baillet-Latour were divorced in 1944.1 He married, secondly, A/Cdre. Dame Felicity Hyde Watts, daughter of Colonel Humphrey Watts, on 24 June 1952 at Westminster, London, England.1 He died on 25 May 1978 at age 78.1
