     George Carnegie, Lord Rosehill was born on 3 November 1791.¹ He was the son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts.¹ He died on 2 February 1807 at age 15, lost at sea, from onboard H.M.S. Blenheim.¹
     He was styled as Lord Rosehill between 1792 and 1807.¹ He was educated at Twyford School, Twyford, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.¹

     William Hopetoun Carnegie, 8th Earl of Northesk was born on 16 October 1794.¹ He was the son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts.¹ He married Georgiana Maria Elliot, daughter of Admiral Hon. Sir George Elliot and Eliza Cecilia Ness, on 14 February 1843.² He died on 5 December 1878 at age 84.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Lord Rosehill and Eglismauldie [S., 1639] on 28 May 1831.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Northesk [S., 1647] on 28 May 1831.¹

     Hon. John Jervis Carnegie was born on 8 July 1807.¹ He was the son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts.¹ He married, firstly, Charlotte Stevenson, daughter of David Stevenson, on 13 February 1836.¹ He married, secondly, Georgiana Marjoribanks, daughter of Edward Marjoribanks and Georgiana de Lautour, on 8 June 1876.¹ He died on 18 January 1892 at age 84.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff in 1862.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Charlotte Stevenson was the daughter of David Stevenson.¹ She married Hon. John Jervis Carnegie, son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts, on 13 February 1836.¹ She died on 20 May 1874.¹
     Her married name became Carnegie.

     David Stevenson lived at Dollan, Carmarthenshire, Wales^G.¹

     Georgiana Marjoribanks was born on 22 April 1813.² She was the daughter of Edward Marjoribanks and Georgiana de Lautour.³ She was baptised on 19 May 1813 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England.² She married, firstly, Elliot Grasett before 1876.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. John Jervis Carnegie, son of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts, on 8 June 1876.¹ She died on 10 April 1896 at age 82.¹
     From before 1876, her married name became Grasett.¹ Her married name became Carnegie.

     Sir Walter de Balun married Isolt de Mortimer, daughter of Sir Edmund de Mortimer, 1st Lord Mortimer, before 1286/87.¹ He died between 1286 and 1293.¹
     He lived at Much Marcle, Ledbury, Herefordshire, England^G.¹

     Edward Marjoribanks was born on 31 May 1776.¹ He was the son of Edward Marjoribanks and Grizel Stewart.^2,1 He married Georgiana de Lautour, daughter of Joseph François Louis de Lautour, on 1 October 1808 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England.^1,3 He died on 17 September 1868 at age 92.¹
     He was a partner of Coutts Bank between 1796 and 1868.¹ He lived in 1867 at Ewden, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
