Catherine St. Aubyn was the daughter of Sir Edward St. Aubyn, 1st Bt. and Emma Knollys.1 She married Sir Hereward Wake, 12th Bt., son of Sir William Wake, 11th Bt. and Margaret Anne Fricker, on 14 April 1874.1 She died on 18 January 1944.1

Hon. Edward Stuart St. Aubyn was born on 30 October 1858.1 He was the son of John St. Aubyn, 1st Baron St. Levan of St. Michaels Mount and Lady Elizabeth Clementina Townshend.1 He died on 30 December 1915 at age 57, unmarried, drowned in the torpedoing of S.S. Persia off Crete.1
He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was appointed Knight of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He was GSO between 1914 and 1915.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 12th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.1
