     Major John Ronald Campbell was born on 18 September 1905.² He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Hon. John Vaughan Campbell, V.C. and Amy Dorothy Penn.² He married Ethel Mildred Cook, daughter of Thomas Reginald Hague Cook, on 12 June 1935.¹ He died on 30 May 1940 at age 34 at France^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.² He fought in the Second World War.²

     Thomas Reginald Hague Cook lived at 46 Portman Square, London, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Lt.-Col. Robert Campbell was born on 23 June 1878.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Ronald George Elidor Campbell and Katharine Susanna Claughton.² He married Mary Emelda Wood, daughter of William Robert Wood, on 15 November 1926.¹ He died on 16 March 1945 at age 66.¹

     Major Robin John Ronald Campbell was born on 30 September 1927.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Campbell and Mary Emelda Wood.² He married Alison Barbara Rose Cave-Browne, daughter of Major Horace Cave-Browne and Alice Rose Weir, on 2 March 1954.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Malayan Campaign, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Queen's Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Kinrara, Aviemore, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Alison Barbara Rose Cave-Browne was born on 3 October 1932.¹ She was the daughter of Major Horace Cave-Browne and Alice Rose Weir.² She married Major Robin John Ronald Campbell, son of Lt.-Col. Robert Campbell and Mary Emelda Wood, on 2 March 1954.² She died on 12 January 2008 at age 75 at Adderbury, Oxfordshire, England.³
     She was in the Women's Royal Naval Service.¹ From 2 March 1954, her married name became Campbell.
