     Commander Hon. Sereld Mordaunt Alan Josslyn Hay was born in November 1877.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Gore Hay, 20th Earl of Erroll and Mary Caroline L'Estrange.1 He married Violet Spiller, daughter of Lt.-Col. Duncan Chisholm Oliver Spiller and Matilda Lucy Stirling, on 26 April 1915.1 He died on 12 November 1939, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Commander-Instructor in 1913 in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, South African Division.1 He was Assistant N.T.O. between 1914 and 1915 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South AfricaG.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1

Charles Gore Hay, 20th Earl of Erroll and Mary Caroline L'Estrange.1 He married Pamela Burroughes, daughter of Francis George Burroughes and Anne Kathleen Julia Bourke, on 8 November 1921.1 He died on 6 September 1936 at age 51.1
