     Walter Ogilvy was the son of Sir Patrick Ogilvy of Auchterhouse and Christian Keith.1 He married Margaret of Fenton, daughter of Walter of Fenton of Beaufort, circa 1438.2 He died after 1478.1
     He held the office of Sheriff Depute of Angus and Banff on 24 April 1450.1
