He married Hon. Jean Elizabeth Mary Willoughby, daughter of Michael Guy Percival Willoughby, 11th Baron Middleton of Middleton and Angela Florence Alfreda Hall, on 17 May 1952.1 He died on 27 January 2017 at age 89.2

Sir James Michael Peto, 2nd Bt. and Frances G. Carnegie, on 21 April 1954.1 He died on 9 April 1993 at age 67.2
