     Lt.-Col. Richard Ian Griffith Taylor was born on 5 June 1911.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas George Taylor and Josephine Margaret Lang.3,2 He married, secondly, Hon. Cecily Eveline Berry, daughter of Henry Seymour Berry, 1st and last Baron Buckland and Gwladys Mary Sandbrook.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Sylvia Alice Joicey, daughter of James Arthur Joicey, 2nd Baron Joicey and Georgina Wharton Burdon, on 28 April 1934.4 He and Hon. Sylvia Alice Joicey were divorced in 1951.4 He died in 1984.4
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)4 He lived at Chipchase Castle, Wark-on-Tyne, Northumberland, England.4 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Hon. Cecily Eveline Berry was the daughter of Henry Seymour Berry, 1st and last Baron Buckland and Gwladys Mary Sandbrook.1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Richard Ian Griffith Taylor, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas George Taylor and Josephine Margaret Lang.1 She married Major Patrick Magor Leatham, son of Captain Cecil Maxwell Leatham. She died on 13 October 1975.
     Her married name became Leatham. Her married name became Taylor.1

     Maldouen, 3rd Earl of Lennox was the son of Alwin, 2nd Earl of Lennox and Eva Menteith.1 He married Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of Walter Stewart, 3rd High Steward of Scotland and Beatrix of Angus, circa 1230.2 He died after 12 March 1250/51.3
     He gained the title of 3rd Earl of Lennox.
