     Lt.-Gen. Sir George Thomas Napier was born on 30 June 1784.2 He was the son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Craig, daughter of John Craig and Sarah Stark, on 22 October 1812.2 He married, secondly, Frances Dorothea Blencowe, daughter of Robert Willis Blencowe and Penelope Robinson, in 1839.2 He died on 8 September 1855 at age 71.3
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 1st West India Regiment.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)4

     Randall Edward Plunkett, 14th Lord Dunsany was born on 5 September 1804.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edward Wadding Plunkett, 13th Lord Dunsany and Hon. Charlotte Louisa Lawless.2 He married Elizabeth Evelyn, daughter of Lyndon Evelyn, on 29 December 1838.1 He died on 7 April 1852 at age 47, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Drogheda between 1835 and 1837.1 He succeeded as the 14th Lord Dunsany [I., c. 1462] on 11 December 1848.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1850 and 1852.1

     Margaret Craig was the daughter of John Craig and Sarah Stark.1,2 She married Lt.-Gen. Sir George Thomas Napier, son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox, on 22 October 1812.1 She died on 31 August 1819.

     Frances Dorothea Blencowe was born on 4 April 1793 at Cranford, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Robert Willis Blencowe and Penelope Robinson.1,2 She married, firstly, William Peere Williams-Freeman, son of Admiral William Peere Williams-Freeman and Henrietta Wilts, on 2 March 1811.2 She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Sir George Thomas Napier, son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox, in 1839.1 She died on 11 July 1881 at age 88.1
     From 2 March 1811, her married name became Williams-Freeman.2 From 1839, her married name became Napier.

     Colonel Hon. George Napier was born on 11 March 1751.3 He was the son of Francis Napier, 6th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Henrietta Maria Johnston.3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Pollock, daughter of Captain Robert Pollock, on 22 January 1775.3 He married, secondly, Lady Sarah Lennox, daughter of General Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond and Lady Sarah Cadogan, on 27 August 1781.1 He died on 13 October 1804 at age 53.3
     He was Comptroller of Army Accounts, Ireland.3

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

     William Napier, 7th Lord Napier of Merchistoun was born on 1 May 1730.2 He was the son of Francis Napier, 6th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Lady Henrietta Hope.1 He married Marie Anne Cathcart, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Cathcart, 8th Lord Cathcart and Marion Shaw, on 22 December 1754 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.3,4 He died on 2 January 1775 at age 44.3,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and DAG in the Forces in Scotland.3 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Scott, of Thirlestane [N.S., 1666] in 1773.1 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Napier of Merchistoun [S., 1627] in 1773.1 He lived at Merchistoun, ScotlandG.
