He married, firstly, Maria Gräfin von Abensperg und Traun in 1960 at Vienna, Austria^G. He married, secondly, Margherita Paola Gräfin von Cassis-Faraone, daughter of Leo August Johannes Friedrich Wilhelm Graf von Cassis-Faraone and Wilhelmina Florentine Fentener von Vlissingen, in 2011.² He was murdered on 13 December 2018 at age 92 at Schloss Bockfliess, Mistelbach, Austria^G, by Johann Anton Adam Reichsgraf von Goëss.²

     Harold William Shipton was born on 29 September 1920. He was the son of Albert William Shipton.¹ He married Lady Janet Helen Attlee, daughter of Clement Richard Attlee, 1st Earl Attlee and Violet Helen Millar, on 15 November 1947.¹ He died on 9 April 2007 at age 86.

She died on 27 April 1985 at age 43 at Vienna, Austria^G.
     She was given the name of Gabriele Louisanne Herberta Theodora Maria Immaculata at birth. Her married name became von Goëss.
