Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat was born on 25 November 1871.1 He was the son of Simon Fraser, 13th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Alice Mary Weld-Blundell.1 He married Hon. Laura Lister, daughter of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblesdale and Charlotte Monkton Tennant, on 15 October 1910 at Brompton Oratory, Brompton, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 18 February 1933 at age 61.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Lovat of Lovat, co. Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblesdale was born on 29 October 1854.1 He was the son of Thomas Lister, 3rd Baron Ribblesdale and Emma Mure.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Monkton Tennant, daughter of Sir Charles Clow Tennant of The Glen, 1st Bt. and Emma Winsloe, on 7 April 1877.1 He married, secondly, Ava Loel Willing, daughter of Edward Shippen Willing and Alice Barton, in 1919.2 He died on 21 October 1925 at age 70, without surviving male issue.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Ribblesdale, of Gisburne Park, co. York [G.B., 1797] on 25 August 1876.1 He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1880 and 1885.1 He was Master of the Royal Buckhounds between 1892 and 1895.1
