     Ethel Mary Turner was born on 24 January 1870 at Balby, Yorkshire, England.¹ She married Herbert Raine Curlewis, son of Frederick Charles Curlewis and Georgina Sophia O'Brien, on 22 April 1896 at St. John's Anglican Church, Gordon, New South Wales, Australia.¹ She died on 8 April 1958 at age 88 at Mosman, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.¹
     She wrote the book Seven Little Australians, published 1894.¹ From 22 April 1896, her married name became Curlewis.¹

     Stephen Hammick was born on 9 May 1846 at Milton Abbott, Devon, England.^1,2 He was the son of Rev. Sir St. Vincent Love Hammick, 2nd Bt. and Mary Alexander.³ He married Caroline Constance Alicia Annie Maria Schneider, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Frederick Schneider and Louisa Fuller, on 9 April 1885.¹ He died on 4 February 1934 at age 87.¹
     He was with the Bombay Civil Service.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Frederick Schneider was born in 1825.² He was the son of John Schneider.² He married Louisa Fuller, daughter of William Fuller, on 5 December 1853 at Belgaum, Bombay, India.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Bombay Staff Corps.¹

     Caroline Constance Alicia Annie Maria Schneider was born on 12 November 1859 at Bombay, India.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Frederick Schneider and Louisa Fuller.^3,2 She was baptised on 27 December 1859 at Belgaum, Bombay, India.² She married Stephen Hammick, son of Rev. Sir St. Vincent Love Hammick, 2nd Bt. and Mary Alexander, on 9 April 1885.¹ She died on 5 January 1937 at age 77.¹
     Caroline Constance Alicia Annie Maria Schneider usually went by her middle name of Constance.² From 9 April 1885, her married name became Hammick.

     Major St. Vincent Frederick Hammick was born on 11 August 1886.¹ He was the son of Stephen Hammick and Caroline Constance Alicia Annie Maria Schneider.² He married Annie Caroline Massingberd Pyke, daughter of Aubone Aldrich Pyke, on 18 December 1919.¹ He died in 1976.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.¹
