     Admiral Sir Henry Hope-Vere was born in 1787.1 He was the son of Charles Hope-Vere and Susan Anne Sawyer.2 He married Jane Sophia Sawyer, daughter of Admiral Sir Herbert Sawyer, on 21 July 1828.1 He died on 2 September 1863, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Admiral of the White.1
