     Lt.-Col. William Henry Webley Hope was born on 4 June 1871.¹ He was the son of Rear-Admiral Charles Webley Hope and Ellen Evelyn Elizabeth Jordan.² He married Florence Hill, daughter of Charles Walter Hill, on 19 September 1900.¹ He died on 13 May 1919 at age 47.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹

     Florence Hill was the daughter of Charles Walter Hill.² She married Lt.-Col. William Henry Webley Hope, son of Rear-Admiral Charles Webley Hope and Ellen Evelyn Elizabeth Jordan, on 19 September 1900.¹ She died on 19 February 1918.¹
     She lived Clapham.¹ Her married name became Hope.

     Lt.-Cdr. Charles Webley Hope was born on 22 March 1902.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Henry Webley Hope and Florence Hill.² He married Harriott Barbara Locke, daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Goord Edwal Locke, on 13 November 1933.¹ He died on 31 March 1941 at age 39, killed in action aboard H.M.S. Bonaventure.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Lt.-Col. Richard Goord Edwal Locke held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Hartlip House, Kent, England^G.¹

     Harriott Barbara Locke was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Goord Edwal Locke.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Charles Webley Hope, son of Lt.-Col. William Henry Webley Hope and Florence Hill, on 13 November 1933.¹ She died in 1970.¹
     From 13 November 1933, her married name became Hope.

     Mary Hope was born on 15 August 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Charles Webley Hope and Harriott Barbara Locke.²

     Janet Hope was born on 12 October 1937.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Charles Webley Hope and Harriott Barbara Locke.² She married Richard Wilson Froggatt, son of Surgn.-Cdr. Thomas Wilson Froggatt, on 8 October 1960.¹
     From 8 October 1960, her married name became Froggatt.

     Surgn.-Cdr. Thomas Wilson Froggatt gained the rank of Surgeon-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Richard Wilson Froggatt is the son of Surgn.-Cdr. Thomas Wilson Froggatt.² He married Janet Hope, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Charles Webley Hope and Harriott Barbara Locke, on 8 October 1960.¹
