John Goodenough was born on 21 April 1706.1 He was the son of William Goodenough and Elizabeth Southby.2
He fought in the Battle of Culloden in 1746.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1746 in the Richbell's Regiment.1

Reverend William Goodenough was born on 29 May 1707.1 He was the son of William Goodenough and Elizabeth Southby.2 He married Elizabeth Serle, daughter of Richard Serle, on 4 March 1739.1 He died on 11 November 1768 at age 61.1

Reverend Samuel Goodenough was born on 29 April 1743.1 He was the son of Reverend William Goodenough and Elizabeth Serle.2 He married Elizabeth Ford, daughter of James Ford, on 17 April 1770.1 He died on 12 August 1827 at age 84.1
He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)1 He was the Rector and Vicar at Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Canon of Windsor in 1798.1 He was the Vicar at Broughton, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He was a founder of the Linnean Society.1 He held the office of Dean of Rochester in 1802.1 He held the office of Bishop of Carlisle in 1808.1 He also had six daughters.1

Reverend Edmund Goodenough was born on 6 April 1785.1 He was the son of Reverend Samuel Goodenough and Elizabeth Ford.2 He married Frances Cockerell, daughter of Samuel Pepys Cockerell and Anne Whetham, on 31 May 1821.1 He died on 2 May 1845 at age 60.1
