     Charles Greenway, 1st Baron Greenway was born on 13 June 1857.¹ He was the son of John David Greenway and Lucy Emily White Wiffen.² He married Mabel Tower, daughter of Edwin Augustine Tower, on 5 June 1884.¹ He died on 17 December 1934 at age 77.¹
     He was a merchant and banker.¹ He was president of Anglo-Persian Oil.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Greenway, of Stanbridge Earls, co. Southampton [U.K.] on 20 May 1919.¹ He was created 1st Baron Greenway, of Stanbridge Earls, co. Southampton [U.K.] on 18 January 1927.¹

     Mabel Tower was the daughter of Edwin Augustine Tower.² She married Charles Greenway, 1st Baron Greenway, son of John David Greenway and Lucy Emily White Wiffen, on 5 June 1884.¹ She died on 24 April 1940.¹
     From 5 June 1884, her married name became Greenway. After her marriage, Mabel Tower was styled as Baroness Greenway on 18 January 1927.

     Charles Kelvynge Greenway, 2nd Baron Greenway was born on 24 March 1888.¹ He was the son of Charles Greenway, 1st Baron Greenway and Mabel Tower.² He married Eileen Constance Brooking, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Harry Triscott Brooking, on 16 April 1916.¹ He died on 30 April 1963 at age 75.²
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He retired from the military in 1920, with the rank of Captain, late of the 26th King George's Own Light Cavalry, Indian Army, Expeditionary Forces Mesopotamia and Aden.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Greenway, of Stanbridge Earls, co. Southampton [U.K., 1927] on 17 December 1934.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Greenway, of Stanbridge Earls, co. Southampton [U.K., 1919] on 17 December 1934.¹

     Hon. Elsie Mabel Greenway was born in 1884.² She was the daughter of Charles Greenway, 1st Baron Greenway and Mabel Tower.³ She married, firstly, Captain William Francis Boucher Edwards on 17 December 1907.¹ She married, secondly, Brigadier Harry Percival Currey, son of Lt.-Col. C. H. Currey, on 30 August 1916.¹ She died on 10 August 1965.¹
     From 17 December 1907, her married name became Edwards. From 30 August 1916, her married name became Currey.¹

     Captain William Francis Boucher Edwards married Hon. Elsie Mabel Greenway, daughter of Charles Greenway, 1st Baron Greenway and Mabel Tower, on 17 December 1907.¹ He died in April 1915 at Mesopotamia^G, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹
