     Sir Percy Walter Greenaway, 1st Bt. was born on 11 June 1874.1 He was the son of Daniel Greenaway.2 He married Lydie Amy Burdick, daughter of James Burdick, on 17 April 1907.1 He died on 25 November 1956 at age 82.1
     He was chairman OF Daniel Greenaway & Sons, printers and stationers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the City of London.1 He held the office of Alderman of London in 1923.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of the City of London between 1931 and 1932.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1932.1 He held the office of Lord-Mayor of London between 1932 and 1933.1 He was created 1st Baronet Greenaway, of Coombe, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 23 October 1933.1
