     Reverend Charles Greenwood Floyd was born on 14 June 1830.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Floyd, 2nd Bt. and Mary Murray.2 He married Edith Ellen Marcon, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Marcon, on 14 April 1880.1 He died on 26 February 1903 at age 72.1
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Rector at Runcton Holme, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
