Bernard Pelly was born on 5 June 1860.1 He was the son of Justinian Pelly and Fanny Ingleby.2 He married Elizabeth Montgomery Minor, daughter of Dr. Thomas Taylor Minor, in February 1900.1 He died on 10 August 1938 at age 78.1
