Sir Charles Fergusson of Kilkerran, 9th Bt. was born on 10 May 1931.2 He was the son of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 8th Bt. and Louise Frances Balfour Stratford Dugdale.2 He married Hon. Amanda Mary Noel-Paton, daughter of Victor Ferrier Noel-Paton, Baron Ferrier and Joane Wiles, on 15 July 1961.2 He died on 30 March 2021 at age 89.3
