     Brig.-Gen. William Charles Douglas, 5th of Brigdon was born on 18 June 1862.2 He was the son of William Douglas and Ellen Rigge.2 He married Jeannette Hutchison, daughter of P. Hutchison.2 He died in 1938.3
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)4 He was commissioned on 4 June 1881 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal Lanark Militia.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 1 July 1881 in the 4th Scottish Rifles.2 He gained the rank of Captain on 26 September 1885.2 He gained the rank of Major on 25 December 1895.2 He lived at Brigton, Angus, ScotlandG.4 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.4 He was Colonel of the 3rd Battalion, Scottish Rifles between 6 December 1902 and 20 May 1908.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel on 27 April 1908.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General on 10 August 1917.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 9 February 1918.4

     Reverend Charles Michael Turner was born in 1810 at Westcourt, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Turner and Harriett Ann Stevenson.1 He married Louisa Tatton, daughter of Thomas William Tatton and Emma Grey, on 1 August 1844 at Wythenshawe, Manchester, Lancashire, England.1 He died on 14 August 1910 at Southampton, Hampshire, England.1
